About the band: Camel are a British progressive rock band formed in 1971. Led by founder-member guitarist Andrew Latimer, they have produced fourteen studio albums. Their mid-seventies albums are considered among the best in the genre. Camel currently have one song in my list of about 200 best pop/rock songs of all time.
About the song: Tell me is a track from the 1977 album Rain dances. The album itself was a bit of a step back after the amazing 1974-1976 trilogy Mirage, The Snowgoose and Moonmadness. However, this audaciously slow ballad is for me the best track they ever recorded. Run time 4:07.
