About the band: Riverside are a progressive rock band from Poland, founded in 2001. Based on their seven studio albums, they are regarded as one of the best heavy prog bands of this century. Riverside currently have one song in my list of about 200 best pop/rock songs of all time.
About the song: This is te title track from their 2005 album., Second life syndrome. It is their best effort so far, unashamedly epic in proportions, with gorgeous guitar work, and a theme that befits the decade: people who flee their lives into the Second Life on the internet. Run time 15:40.
