They are the one of the most successful German bands of recent decades. They released 17 studio albums, mainly sung in German. Die Toten Hosen currently have two songs in my list of about 200 best pop/rock songs of all time.
About the song: Tauschen gegen dich (Exchange for you) is a track from the 2008 album In aller Stille. Among the usual rockers that dominate the album, we find a ballad that is almost as good as their song Nur zu Besuch. A marvelous acoustic guitar dominated love song that is convincing and moving in its inherent simplicity. Run time 3:16.
