Pride - In the name of love (U2)
About the band: U2 are an Irish rock band, formed in 1976. They have released 14 studio albums and are one of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold an estimated 150–170 million records worldwide. U2 currently have three songs in my list of 200 best pop/rock songs of all time (and one under the name Passengers).
About the song: Pride - In the name of love is a track from the 1984 album Unforgettable fire, produced by grandmaster Brian Eno. It is a moving eulogy for Martin Luther King, which was to be their first USA top40 hit, and another solid top10 hit in the UK. Bono himself considered this the best song they had ever written. Just like Martin Luther King continued his fight until the bitter end, U2 keeps relentlessly hammering home their message in this modern rock classic. Run time 3:50.
